Facilities

Northenden Golf Club has outdoor teaching and practice facilities. A summary of the available facilities is displayed below.

The spacious practice nets are located next to the practice ground and are a short distance from the 1st tee.

The nets use astroturf for a realistic feel and have slits on both the left and right to allow golfers to tee their ball up.

To the rear of the clubhouse is a chipping green with various flag positions and ample space for flop shots and chip and runs etc.

The clubhouse balcony overlooks both the 18th green and the chipping green.

The practice ground is located alongside the practice nets and includes yardage markers as well as a bunker allowing golfers to practice both long and short bunker shots.

Due to the motorway running along the end of the practice ground, for safety reason woods may not be used, however golfers are permitted to practice driving along the 17th fairway providing they do not interrupt play.
