Northenden Golf Club is the jewel in the crown of the South Manchester courses.
Don't take our word for it, ask Open winners Tony Jacklin, Nick Faldo, Sandy Lyle, Bob Charles and Greg Norman plus Ken Brown, Manuel Pinero, Ryder Cup captain Sam Torrance or Mark McNulty, who were among many of the European tour stars who played in the club's annual pro-am tournament in the 70's and 80's.
The Greens Project
In July 2005 the members of Northenden voted by a large majority to rebuild all 18 greens to the United States Greenkeepers Association specification. Read more on "The Greens Project".

Joe O'Reilly successfully "drove-in" as the 2009 Captain of Northenden Golf Club. Ian Hynes became the new Vice Captain and Harry Richards became President.
