Northenden Ladies on TV!

On Tuesday 18th October the Northenden Ladies, organised by Lady Captain Pat Blackburn, held an afternoon tea to support The Together Trust charity which is based in Cheadle.

The ladies were filmed by Irish TV for a programme called 'Out & About in Manchester' which will be screened on Sky 191 on Tuesday 1st November at 8.30pm.

Several of the Ladies were filmed teeing off the 10th and then filmed on the putting green before going inside to do a short interview. Pat, Julie Williams (from Together Trust) and NGC lady member, Terri Tivenen, spoke to the program.

They then did some filming in the function room as the ladies gathered for the afternoon tea which featured a guest speaker – Gay Rhodes.

Fifty Ladies attended the event which was a great success.
