CADE MOVES ON FROM NORTHENDEN TO WIN A MAJOR U.S. TOURNAMENT
A young American relative of Cammie Stewart, former Captain and President of Northenden Golf Club, has hit the golfing headlines in the USA.
Cade Breitinstine, a 19-year-old University student, who played in the Norton Barrie Classic at Northenden two years ago with his great uncle, won the North East Ohio Open Amateur championship by six strokes after a final round of 66.
This prestigious tournament was won many years ago by Arnold Palmer.
